Anatomía de Ingrávidas (Weightless Anatomy) is a personal project about eating disorders. This fictitious treatise on anatomy is based on research on psychology and ethology of eating disorders, as well as an introspective evaluation on them, in order to support an artistic project. This album aims to capture the reality about this type of mental illnesses from an alternative perspective.
It uses the illustration as a tool, which intervenes to give graphic character to the legends and explanations, in contrast with the potentially scientific (although fictitious) nature of the texts of this treatise. The hand-painted watercolor illustration allows us to add this dreamlike, scientific but human duality in which the interest of the project remains.
